Food Technology—we made a healthy fruit salad.

In science we used a Venn diagram to sort carnivores, herbivores and omnivores.

We made prayer flags as part of our Standing Together project.

Year 3 Autumn Term


We thought carefully when we drew candles to represent peace.

We made delicious edible soil as part of our rocks topic.

Gambia, Kenya and South Africa classes reflected on what makes us individual and ‘Roar—some!

Our history topic was learning about the Stone Age. We planned and wrote a Survival Guide.

In science we drew our shadows to explore how light moves.

In English we have been focusing on adding extra detail to sentences.

In maths we had to work out fractions of an amount using physical resources.

In maths we have also been telling the time to 5 minutes.

Year 3 Summer Term 2019


We visited the PSHE bus and found out more about how our bodies work.

We wrote how we’re special on our visit to the prayer spaces.

We practised our measuring skills and understanding of capacity by making some magic potions. .

In ICT we used our programming skills to create a game using Scratch. .
