We visited Butser Farm and travelled back in time to the Stone Age and Roman era.

We looked around some Stone Age homes and compared them to our own. There were rugs of animal skins that they would have sat on, a fire was in the middle to keep us warm like the Stone Age people would use.

We became architects and dug out lots of artefacts.

We found bones, pottery and even weapons.

Year 3 Spring Term 2018

We visited a Roman house and made mosaics.

At the end of the day we made our own Stone Age jewellery.

We looked at remade Stone Age tools. .

We learned about the toys that they had, we looked at bones that were used for axes. We also saw wooden hammers and things engraved on heavy stones. .
