About us
As a class of 29 Year 1 children we are learning in a more formal environment for the first time.
We are learning how to be resilient and resourceful in order to learn independently.
We love having fun whilst we learn and all respect each other and know that we will make mistakes and learn from them on our Year 1 journey.
We love reading and we are all working to become independent readers by working hard in our daily phonics lessons.
Our topics are fun and engaging and we do a lot of learning about each topic through different subjects and books.
As a class we love to take on challenges and stick together as team to overcome them.
Class charter
In Italy Class we will follow these class rules:
- Don't hit or punch.
- Show love, respect and courage to everyone.
- Be Kind to everyone.
- Don't break toys and take care of all our things.
- Let people play with you.
- Tidy up together.
- Indoor voices.
- Listen to each other.
