About us
Portugal's class consists of 25 eager, enquiring, and dedicated children.
Successfully, we have transitioned to a more formal environment within Year 1.
We are building our independence, resilience, and perseverance every day.
With our positive mindset, the class is a joyful space.
We learn best from exciting first-hand experiences indoors and outdoors that ignite our thinking.
Learning is fun in our class, and we endeavour to respect each other and our environment.
We show love and kindness to develop our friendships and use courage to tackle the challenges we face on our Year 1 journey.
As a class, we are passionate about reading and often recommend books to each other, act out stories and read to our class "Reading Buddies".
Proudly, we update our parents by sharing our learning news on Seesaw.
As a class, we all work well together to be the best we can be!
Class charter
In Portugal Class we will follow these class rules:
- To listen, look and do good talking.
- To use polite language and good manners.
- To keep myself and others safe.
- To stay in my learning space when learning.
- To do as I am asked by the first time of being asked.
