Gambia class
About us
We are Gambia class. Formed of 31 children, we ensure that we are filling each other’s “buckets” every day.
Every time another class member does something to aim to change our mood in a positive way, we add a token to the class bucket.
This helps us feel safe and continue to thrive in our fun learning environment.
Class charter
We want our class to be a happy and safe place where we can learn our best, so we promise to:
Love
- Show love and kindness to all our friends and all teachers.
- Only say kind words to others.
- Help others if they are hurt or finding something difficult.
- Include everyone in our games especially if they are lonely.
Respect
- Follow the instructions of our teachers when they ask us the first time.
- Don’t shout out and put my hand up if I want to speak.
- Listen to others if they are speaking.
- Work quietly so we don’t distract others.
- Show respect to school resources and toys as well as to others.
- Keep our classroom tidy.
- Be helpful.
Courage
- Try our best in everything we do so we can become our best selves!
- Give all our work a go before we give up or ask a teacher.
- Encourage each other!
- Remain positive!
