Sweden class

About us

Being a Year 4 class of 31 children, we are developing our independence, perseverance and our love of learning.

In our class, we love to challenge ourselves and other to foster a classroom environment that is open to mistakes and develops our growth mindset.

When stepping into Sweden class, we show a love of reading and are always wanting to share books, explore new topics and discuss difficult but thought-provoking themes from our class reader.

We are also becoming incredible authors by immersing ourselves into the world of chocolate, Victorian and the Vikings.

Some of the highlights of this year include creating a Zumba dance for the school, chocolate making for parents, visiting a Victorian workhouse and a trip to Test Wood Lakes.

As B.B. King once said, ‘the beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you’.

What we have learnt in Sweden class has continued to build our learner attributes to becoming a successful, happy and well-rounded member of society.
