Chile class

About us

We are a team of 27 who are learning to be resilient and independent learners.

We have a class mascot called Monty (Miss Clotworthy’s dog)!

We enjoy learning about his antics!

Chile class is a calm and enthusiastic classroom where we accept challenges!

We thoroughly enjoy reading and recommending books to each other.

We particularly enjoy our library sessions where we can cosy up on bean bags or comfy chairs and enjoy looking at new books!

We enjoy the opportunities Year 5 brings such as being a WW1 soldier for the day, carrying out exciting science experiments and speaking up about climate change!

We are preparing ourselves to be Year 6 ready so we can embrace KS2 SATS.

We always remind ourselves too…be strong, courageous and do it!

Class charter

We show love by looking out for one another and making sure they are happy.
We show love by listening when its others turn to speak.
We show respect by keeping our hands and negative thoughts to ourselves.
We show respect by tidying up after ourselves and keeping the classroom clean.
We show courage by standing up for what you believe in.
We show courage by facing our fears and going out of our comfort.
We stay safe by keeping our distance, staying at home if we have symptoms and washing our hands regularly.
