About us

Year 6 is about learning to be independent and preparing ourselves for secondary school.

The rolling programme in particular teaches us to be independent learners.

As we grow and build friendships, we have tried to develop not only our school-based knowledge, but also develop our lateral thinking and understanding of jokes or puns that have double meanings.

We decided we wanted to create a fun but calm environment or our learning while working towards our KS2 SATS.

We love reading and sharing the books that we like with our peers and adults.

We look forward to all the exciting opportunities and responsibilities that Year 6 brings including our residential visit to Little Canada, IT workshops at Paulton’s Park and a special end of year leavers’ service at the Winchester Cathedral.
