We incorporate virtual learning in our curriculum to help our students develop essential computer skills.

What is a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)?

A VLE is an online platform that we use to enrich our digital education provision.

VLE's can also be used to give parents more insight into certain aspects of their child's learning.

At St James we use two different VLE platforms:

  1. Seesaw
  2. Tapestry

Seesaw

What is Seesaw?

Seesaw provides two-way communication features that let you monitor certain aspects of your child's learning.

Access your child's Seesaw account

Your child should have been provided with a Seesaw account and you can sign in below:

Tapestry

What is Tapestry?

Tapestry is an online journal we use in Year R to build a record of a child’s experiences, development and learning journey through their early years.

We use photos, videos and diary entries to 'weave’ the story of your child and how they are growing and developing.

Access your child's Tapestry account

When you accept your child's place at Saint James' School you should receive an activation email from Tapestry.

This link will be unique to your child.

If you already have a Tapestry account from a Nursery or Pre School setting, you will need a new one for our school.
