    Do you want to become a primary school teacher whilst learning in one of 50 schools across Hampshire?

    What is Train to Teach?

    Train to Teach is a school-based training programme which can allow you to become a fully qualified teacher in a year.

    Saint James Primary School is one of 50+ partnership schools that supports the programme.

    Who can apply?

    To qualify for this programme, you must have both:

    • A standard equivalent to a grade C or grade 4 in the GCSE of English (English Language), mathematics and science (for Primary phase applicants).

    • An (Hons) degree from a United Kingdom higher education institution or equivalent qualification.

    Please note that to be considered for the PGCE element of the programme applicants will be required to have achieved a 2:2 or higher (Hons) degree.
